Fire Alarm Systems
Fire is one of the most serious dangers we all face, and businesses of every size and in every industry have a responsibility to safeguard their employees and premises from fire. The key to this is an effective Fire Alarm System.
DS Securities supply all types of fire detection and early warning equipment designed primarily for designated use on commercial sites. These fall broadly into two groups: conventional fire systems, and analogue addressable fire systems.
With a conventional fire detection systems the main control panel receives a signal from a fire detector or call point, then triggers other devices such as sprinklers and alarm signalling. Conventional fire systems remain excellent solutions for smaller premises.
Analogue Addressable fire systems add more flexibility and speed of identification to your fire detection system and are ideal for larger sites. Detectors are wired in ‘loops’ around your premises, each detector with its own unique identity. They communicate intelligently with the main control panel providing information on heat or smoke levels, or faults. This allows the exact location of any incident to be quickly identified and dealt with. All can be easily integrated into Entry and Building Control systems.
